The League was officially formed on Thursday February 28th, 2008 at a meeting at the Falcon, Mexborough. League officials were duly elected and can be seen in more detail by clicking the "Committee" link above. 16 League teams were invited to join and can also be reviewed by clicking the "Team Profiles" or "Venues" links above.

It is the intention of the League to serve Mexborough and the surrounding area and to provide competition pool on a League basis on Thursday evenings throughout the Spring, Summer and Autumn, followed by two team knockout competitions, finishing no later than mid-November of each season.

League meetings shall take place on Wednesday evenings at regular intervals throughout the season at various member venues, commencing at 19:00 (7pm.). It is important for a member team to have a representative (or Delegate) attend the meetings in order to pay any outstanding monies, hand in used scorecards, collect new scorecards and to air any grievance they may have.
